Summer Camps

This summer, the YMCA of Frederick County will offer 35 camps including sports, art, humanities and an outdoor adventure camp. Many camps will offer swimming, field trips, games, crafts, and character development activities. Campers make friends while learning the values of diversity and cooperation. Best of all, you can be assured your kids are having fun in a friendly, caring, and safe environment.

Sports

Hi-ya! The YMCA offers sports for all ages, including karate, men’s basketball, racquetball and a wide array of youth sports.

Kids Unlimited

The Kids Unlimited program provides summer camps for children with autism and other special needs. Participants will be included in general camp programs and activities and will be supervised by YMCA staff trained to work with children ages 5-20 with special needs.

Massage

Relax with a Swedish, deep tissue or sports massage at the YMCA, performed by our Maryland State Certified and NCTMB Certified massage practitioners. Massage therapy helps to: Reduce stress, promote healing, relieve muscle tension and stiffness, and increase flexibility.

Pool Rentals

Pool parties at the Y are held either Saturdays from 3:00-5:00pm or on Sundays from 1:30-3:30pm. The first hour is always in the pool and followed by an hour in the Activity Room which is located off of the Youth Center. You may have up to 25 people in the pool at one time. 2019 Lucky Leprechaun 5k/10k & Little Leprechaun 1 Mile Color Run

The Green Valley Y hosts this annual 5k/10k event around St. Patrick’s Day. The Lucky Leprechaun is a festive, family oriented event for all ages. Participants are welcome to use strollers as well as walk the course. Festive holiday costumes encouraged! All proceeds benefit the YMCA of Frederick County’s Annual Campaign.
