Why Donate to the YMCA of Frederick County?

Because when you donate to the Y, you help provide programming and services that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in Frederick. The YMCA provides membership for individuals and families that can’t afford it, so everyone can learn, play grow, and thrive! Each year, the YMCA provides financial assistance that directly impacts residents right here in our own community. To do this, we depend on charitable donations. Your generous support keeps the Y available for those who need us most.

Annual Campaign

Members and potential members alike are welcome at our facilities and to participate in our programs and events. We strive to never turn anyone away due to an inability to pay.

Annual Events

The YMCA of Frederick County hosts several events each year to raise funds for The Annual Campaign and specific initiatives including teen programs, summer camp, Parkinson’s Rock Steady Boxing/Pedaling for Parkinson’s, and much more.

The Endowment Fund provides long-term support to the Y’s mission. Your gift provides lasting support for the Y to remain accessible to everyone – regardless of their ability to pay. The investment of our Y’s endowment is crucial to meeting our future needs.
