Cecchetti Ballet Classes

Students learn to dance by studying and internalizing the basic principles, in an effort to become self-reliant on knowledge rather than imitation of movement

The Cecchetti method is a ballet technique and training system created by the Italian ballet master Enrico Cecchetti (1850–1928). A syllabus based training system, the Cecchetti method is founded on the laws of anatomy enriching the dancer’s understanding of balance, poise, strength and fluidity of movement. Students learn to dance by studying and internalizing the basic principles, in an effort to become self-reliant on knowledge rather than imitation of movement.
