Scorpio Moons: For Her close upScorpio Moons: For Her is an intermedia installation intended to act as a visual meditation and memorial for the artist’s childhood friend. The installation includes a print series of a deconstructed book Summer Sisters by Judy Bloom, painted with cyanotype, layer with pieces of sea ephemera, 35mm film negatives, 16mm clear film leader painted with moon and star nail polish, and small embroidery of (early 2000s text code, favorite things they shared and emphasized paragraphs in the book). A few smaller print pieces are on exhibit as well.
