The Fore the Kids Charity Golf Tournament occurs every year in early spring. With more than 50 sponsors from in and around the Frederick Community, the event successfully raises funds for the YMCA of Frederick County’s Annual Campaign to benefit children and families in Frederick County.

Formed to promote family-oriented fitness in the community and surrounding areas, proceeds benefit the YMCA of Frederick County’s Annual Campaign to provide individuals suffering from Parkinson’s Disease the opportunity to participate in YMCA programs, especially our Pedaling for Parkinson’s cycle class and Rock Steady Boxing.

Every year, the Y will celebrate Healthy Kids Day^®, our national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids. Summer is the time for kids to get up, get out and grow. But for some kids, exposure to activities that stimulate the body and mind ends with the school year.
