New Artist in Residence (AIR): Adrien Gehring
Our most recent addition to the Y Arts Center, Adrien Gehring, grew up with art and artists all around her. Her family taught her art as a language for self expression. She spent the first half of her life creating healing communities with worship and word. In the second half of her life, she has turned to painting, writing, and printmaking as a language to understand and share healing connections.
She will be having a Book Opening, Sept 7, 3-5pm
Free & Free Falling: a year of haiku and images 2023
She will share her writing and drawing process to create this work of art. Books will be for sale at event.
