Welcome to an unforgettable summer experience at Camp West Mar, nestled in the serene foothills of the Catoctin Mountains. At the YMCA of Frederick County Overnight Summer Camp, campers ages 9-14 will embark on a journey of fun, growth, and exploration, making friendships and memories that last a lifetime.

Dates and Rates
Choose from two options:
- 5-Day Camp (Sunday–Friday): $700 for members | $760 for non-members
- 3-Day Camp (Sunday–Wednesday): $430 for members | $480 for non-members
2025 Session Dates:
- Week 1: June 16–20
- Week 2: June 23–27
- Week 3: July 7–11
- Week 4: July 14–18
- Week 5: July 28–Aug 1
Logistics
Parents will drop off campers at Camp West Mar on Sunday (3–4 PM) and pick them up at the end of the session (Friday 4–5:30 PM or Wednesday for the 3-day option).
What to Pack
To make the most of their camp experience, your camper should bring:
- Clothing: Comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes, a swimsuit, and a light jacket or hoodie.
- Bedding: Sleeping bag or blanket, pillow, and towel for swimming and showering.
- Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, sunscreen, and bug spray.
- Other Essentials: Water bottle, flashlight, and any necessary medications.
- Optional Items: A book, disposable camera, or small personal hammock.
- Do Not Bring: Electronics, valuables, or food/snacks (to prevent critters!).
