Rotary Club of Frederick Hosting Canned Food Drive for the Religious Coalition’s Food Bank
The Rotary Club of Frederick is hosting a canned food drive to support the Religious Coalition’s Food Bank.
The Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs is dedicated to preventing and alleviating the effects of poverty on the residents of Frederick County. In 2022, the Coalition served 1,346 people in Frederick.
Did you know that 7% of Frederick County residents live below the poverty line, with a household of 4 earning $28,000 or less.
Chris Colville, CEO of the YMCA of Frederick County and member of the Rotary Club of Frederick, wants to help fulfill this need and is hosting a canned food drive at the YMCA of Frederick County. Donations will be accepted at both YMCA of Frederick County locations with a donation box in the lobby: Downtown Y (1000 N Market Street) and Natelli Family Y (3481 Campus Drive).
We will be collecting donations until November 15.
