BODYCOMBAT™

BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed

This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new BODYCOMBAT™ class is produced every three months with new music and choreography.

Cycling Fitness Classes at the YMCA

These challenging, non-impact cycling fitness classes is designed for all fitness levels

Group Cycling

Ages 14 and older. Get ready for the ride of your life! Join an exhilarating, body-changing class that integrates music, motivation, and inspiration to deliver a terrific cardiovascular workout. Group Cycling is a challenging, non-impact program is designed for all fitness levels. Location: Upstairs Cycle Room (by the running track).

Offered at the Downtown Y and Green Valley Y locations.

Pump & Ride

A one-hour total body experience that will give you a great cardio and strength training workout all in one class. Dumbbells are used for the strength training portion during the cycle portion for 45 minutes. The last 15 minutes will be spent on the track with continued intervals, abdominal work and cool down. Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced.

Boot Camp

This class is about improving your strength and stamina through a rugged workout

Boot Camp is a one hour class that includes indoor and outdoor running, plyometrics, running drills, jump rope, strength conditioning, and stretching.
Offered at the Green Valley Y location.

STEP

Using an adjustable step platform, this high-energy cardio class helps you increase your endurance and tone your body. Class begins with a dynamic warm-up, followed by an instructor-led active, choreographed cardiovascular exercise targeting different muscle groups. Step fitness classes suit participants of all fitness levels.

Cardio Box

Using an adjustable step platform, this high-energy cardio class helps you increase your endurance and tone your body. HIIT

HIIT stands for High Intense Interval Training. Working at maximum efforts for a duration of time ranging from 30 seconds to 2 minutes with a following rest/recovery period. HIIT classes will utilize a combination of body weight and weighted training efforts. HIIT classes normally are 30 minutes long.

Zumba

Zumba® features aerobic training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. “Ditch the workout” and join the latest craze in group exercise, Zumba® Fitness. Dance your way to a fitter you doing unique and exciting Latin moves. Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced.

GRIT

LES MILLS GRIT ™ Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.

LES MILLS GRIT ™ Cardio is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximizes calorie burn. This workout uses a variety of body weight exercises and provides the challenge and intensity you need to get results fast.

LES MILLS GRIT ™ Athletic is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sports conditioning workout, designed to make you perform like an athlete.
