Youth Gymnastics
YMCA gymnastics classes are designed to build confidence and skills in a safe environment. These classes will focus on general body awareness, skills, developing strength and endurance. For a complete description of classes, including class times and fees, please view our current program guide.

Just 4’s
Participants should be 4 by first week of class. This co-ed class consists of beginner level instruction in floor exercise, large motor skills, uneven bars, balance beam, springboard, and body awareness.
Girls just 5
Girls should be 5 by first week of class. Consists of beginner-level instruction in floor exercise, uneven bars, balance bean, and springboard.
Beginners
This class is for girls age 6 and older and includes beginner-level instruction in floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, and springboard.
Advanced Beginners
This class is for girls age 6 and older and includes advanced beginner-level instruction in floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, springboard and vault. Prerequisite: Good cartwheel and previous gymnastics instruction.
Intermediate/Advanced
This class is for girls age 7 and older and requires instructor approval before registering. Intermediate/Advanced level instruction in floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, and vault.
Boys 5 & 6
Progressive instruction in six events: floor exercise, parallel bars, still rings, vault, pommel horse, and high bar.
Boys 7 and Older
Progressive instruction in six events: floor exercise, parallel bars, still rings, vault, pommel horse, and high bar.
Private Lessons
The Y offers thirty minutes of private gymnastics instruction to fit the skill needs for children ages 5 and older.
