WIT: Contemporary Art at its Best.
Four artists exhibit exceptional, intriguing works of art.

Gallery 115 is pleased to announce the art exhibition WIT, a group show
that will exhibit the work of four intensely imaginative artists, Travis Childers, Garth Fry, Leslie
Holt, and Milan Warner.

Each artist exemplifies the ideals of art created today in their own unique manner, demonstrating both an academic and intuitive understanding of art history. Works refute archaic notions of a hierarchy in art media by utilizing non-traditional media and/or new media, while using idea or
concepts to inform media choice. Additionally, each artist poignantly addresses critical issues that impact our communities today. Themes in the exhibition include, climate change, mental health, neurodiversity, existentialism and the human body.

The exhibition will run from February 11th – April 2nd with an Opening Reception & Artist Talk on March 4th, from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Free interactive school tours and homeschool groups are available for this exhibition. Each tour is tailored to be age-appropriate. Interested institutions should contact the Curator, Rula Jones at
gallery115@frederickymca.org to make an appointment.

Gallery 115 is located at 115 East Church Street. Hours are currently Friday, Saturday, Sunday  Noon-3 pm and by appointment for tours and with extended hours during special events.
