Why Donate to the YMCA of Frederick County?
Because when you donate to the Y, you will help Frederick advance programming and services that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Each year, the YMCA provides financial assistance that makes a direct impact on residents right here in our own community. To do this, we depend on charitable donations. Below you can see all of the different ways you can help the YMCA of Frederick County support the community.
Because of people like you, we are able to provide opportunities that improve our community’s health and well-being. The YMCA is particularly proud of the fact that we accept individuals and families that can’t afford memberships, so everyone has the same opportunity to learn, play and grow. Last year, financial support made 640 scholarships possible for community members to participate in all the Y has to offer. Your generous support keeps the Y available for those who need us most.
