The Y is launching a new Middle School Initiative for the 2017-18 school year. The S.T.A.R.S. program will support students from 5 Middle Schools, hosting the activities and services at 3 locations.
Available at the following Middle Schools:
- West Frederick
(Serving Crestwood students, transportation provided)
- Gov. Thomas Johnson
(Serving Monocacy students, transportation provided)
Annual Registration Fee: $20
Monthly Activity Fee: $40
The monthly fee for the S.T.A.R.S. program includes the following benefits:
- All activity fees for daily enrichment services
- Daily meal and/or supplemental snack
- Field trip & transportation costs
- Annual Youth Membership to the Y
(Subject to active Daily/Weekly participation in the S.T.A.R.S. program)
- Access to the Y Leaders Club and Reach & Rise Mentoring programs
Financial Assistance available for families with a demonstrated need.

Registration opens Monday, August 21st at 8:00am at the Downtown Y. Y Staff will be at each Middle School Open House and/or Back to School Night to conduct on site registration for your convenience.
