The Frederick YMCA Aquatics Department would like to invite you to be part of a team of tens of thousands of kids and families who will be participating in the 10th anniversary World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ on Thursday, June 20, 2019!
Join us as we splash, kick and blow bubbles to spread the word that Swimming Lessons Save Lives™. Join TEAM WLSL™ for our 10th year of helping to prevent drowning, the 3rd leading cause of unintentional injury-related death worldwide.

This FREE beginner swim lesson will take place from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Fisher (small) Pool. Registration is required, and can be done online through this link: Register for the World’s Largest Swim Lesson or at the front desk. All ages are welcome, children under 3 are required to have a parent participating in the water with them (you must register each child individually, any parents who are participating must be registered as well).
Space is limited, and the first 25 people to register will go home with an official World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ wristband, so register early and we hope to see you there!
