Ways to Give

As a leading nonprofit for strengthening community, financial gifts to the Y will help Frederick advance programming and services that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. More importantly, gifts to the YMCA of Frederick County make a direct impact on residents right here in our own community.

Because of people like you, we are able to provide opportunities that improve our community’s health and well-being. The YMCA is particularly proud of the fact that we accept individuals and families that can’t afford memberships, so everyone has the same opportunity to learn, play and grow. Last year, financial support made it possible for 727 individuals to participate at the Y. These scholarships were subsidized by the Y of for a total $160,000. In addition, the YMCA Summer Camp Scholarship Program provides needy children the experience that all kids should have during summer break with a variety of fun and unique camps. Your generous support keeps the Y available for those who need us most.
