Financial Assistance

The YMCA wants to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in our programs and enjoy our facilities and services. Financial assistance is available for memberships, child care, camp, and programming.

Applications can be picked up at the member services desk, or by calling 301-607-6900. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.

Green Valley Branch

Our Green Valley branch is on Fingerboard Road in Monrovia. It serves people in the Urbana area who might find it difficult or inconvenient to travel to our downtown location.

Hours of operation
Monday-Thursday 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Friday 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Programs

We offer several health and fitness programs that involve youth sports, Karate, exercise classes, and even personal training in our Fitness Center equipped with cardiovascular, free weight and circuit machines.

Full-day child care is available for children 6 weeks-5 years old, as well as before and after-school care. We also provide a babysitting service for parents working out.

Becoming a member of the Green Valley Branch is easy. You can either pay your membership on an annual basis or sign up for our monthly draft option. Membership sales must be done in person. We are located at 11791 Fingerboard Road, Monrovia, Maryland, 21770.
